GO!Messenger

Go!Messenger was a free Instant Messenger Program for the PlayStation Portable. The download was released on 29-02-2008. It has been jointly developed by SCEE and BT. It was introduced to the system with the 3.90 firmware update and the Go!Messenger download icon has been added under Network. The Go!Messenger service was withdrawn by BT and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEE) on 31 March 2009.
Go!Messenger allowed PSP users to:
- Send Instant Messages to each other
- Video Chat
- Video Chat with the Go!Cam
- Send Video and Voice Messages to other PSP users
Discontinuation
Because GO!Messenger didn't got the popularity Sony and BT wanted, they discontinued the service on 31 March 2009. On the GO!Messenger website you can read the following text:
The Go!Messenger service was withdrawn by BT and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEE) on 31 March 2009.
We’d like to thank all fans of Go!Messenger and are sorry we have had to do this.
